The contract is entered into between the leasing company (lessor) and the Client (lessee) to provide the vehicles for a long term starting from 1 year up to 5 years for use by the lessee or its employee. The leasing company is the legal owner of the vehicle and passes on the right of use of the car to the lessee for the duration of the contract. Upon expiry of the lease period, the vehicle is returned back to the leasing company and the lessee does have an option to buy the vehicle if specified in the contract.

The lessor procures the vehicle as per specifications provided by the lessee and delivers the same to the lessee for the pre-decided tenure (from 1 to 5 years, not exceeding 5 years in any case) on lease. Also included are fleet management services which take away all the hassles of managing comprehensive maintenance. Additional services include insurance renewal, damage repairs & insurance claims, replacement vehicles, pick-up & drop services and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance for a worry free driving experience during the term. The lessor charges a fixed lease rental to be paid monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually as decided between lessor and lessee.

The value of the car at the end of the tenure is known as Resale Value. This is also known as the residual value. The lease rentals are calculated with a method that ensures the employee pays only for the usage of the vehicle and not the residual value. It is determined depending on the risk profile of the asset, kilometers driven and other related factors that may have an impact on it.

AVIS Saudi offers a full-service operating lease that offers a comprehensive mobility solution with value added services to give our clients a superior experience.
The details of all the services are mentioned below:

• New vehicle procurement:

AVIS Saudi would assist the Client in sharing vehicle models, variant options, reviews on each of them including arranging for test drives, expert consultation, prices and best negotiated deals.

• Immediate pre-lease vehicle:

AVIS Saudi will offer an equivalent pre-lease replacement vehicle to the employee in cases where the ordered vehicle is in waiting beyond the stipulated delivery timelines.

• Comprehensive maintenance coverage:

To provide total peace of mind solution to the employee, a full comprehensive coverage on all kinds of repair and periodic maintenance including tires and battery is offered. All expenses related to vehicle repairs and maintenance get covered under fleet management rental repairs arising due to misuse or negligence. The employee does not have to pay anything to the service center for the items included in the contract. The rental varies with the term and kilometers of running opted for the specific vehicle model/variant.

• Full comprehensive insurance policy coverage:

All accident damage repairs are covered under its comprehensive insurance policy coverage through its preferred insurance service provider. Insurance management is part of the fleet management services that includes its renewals and services for claims settlement

• Similar replacement loaner vehicle:

If the vehicle is going to after sales service centers for mechanical repair work or accident repair work, AVIS Saudi provides a replacement vehicle within 6 hours of reporting. This service helps employees continue with their regular routine and ensure uninterrupted mobility during the lease tenure.

• Pick and drop service for repairs/maintenance/breakdowns/accidents:

AVIS Saudi provides pick-up service for the vehicle to be sent to a service station for maintenance or repair work. Once the work is complete, the vehicle is delivered back to the employee at a convenient time and place.

• AVIS Saudi Care – 24/7 roadside assistance for an emergency:

Mobility for employees also means exposure to risk due to breakdown; the Avis 24/7 road side assistance service would be available to the employee.

AVIS Saudi provides a car with comprehensive insurance coverage through its preferred insurance service provider.

You can schedule your vehicle for service or damage repair works through AVIS Saudi Client portal or contact any of our Customer Service Team in your city.

Tyre puncture, fuel (unless specified) or any other incidental charges, scratches where repainting is required, repairs due to misuse/negligence/damage/missing items or from unauthorized use of vehicle specified in the contract and the vehicle owner’s manual supplied by the manufacturer are not covered under insurance & maintenance services.

In an unfortunate case of an accident, kindly inform AVIS Saudi Customer Service Team to provide you with all the necessary help to deal with the situation. AVIS Saudi Teams will take necessary action to get the vehicle repaired from AVIS preferred authorized workshop.

In case the vehicle is stolen or is declared a total loss, complete documentation along with a police report must be obtained and provided to us. If you need any help with this process, our GRO & customer service teams can support you
